RealFix-AI Privacy Notice

1. Who we are. RealFix-AI provides diagnostic reasoning assistance for automotive, heavy-duty, and RV repair professionals.

2. Information we collect. Account information you provide (email, authentication credentials, subscription tier). Diagnostic inputs you submit (VIN, year/make/model, DTCs, symptoms, tests performed, technician notes). Usage and telemetry (case identifiers, timestamps, rate-limit counters, error logs); VINs are masked in logs to their last six characters. Billing metadata received from our payment processor; payment-card information is handled directly by that processor and is not stored by RealFix-AI.

3. How we use information. To authenticate you, produce diagnostic responses, enforce subscription entitlements and rate limits, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.

4. Third-party AI and cloud providers. Diagnostic inputs may be transmitted to third-party model, hosting, database, storage, email, and payment providers, including OpenAI where applicable, strictly to produce your response.

5. AI-generated content and verification. Diagnostic output is AI-assisted reasoning and is not a substitute for professional judgment. It must be verified by a qualified technician against authoritative service information before any repair is performed.

6. Data sharing. We share information only with the service providers described above, and only as needed to operate RealFix-AI. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law.

7. Retention. Account and diagnostic records, including the liability-grade diagnostic audit trail, are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, tax, security, and audit requirements.

8. Your choices. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. Some records must be retained for legal or security reasons.

9. Security. We use row-level authorization, encrypted transport, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure.

10. Changes. We may update this notice. Material changes are recorded in the legal document registry.
